Bona Dance Retreat- August 2026, Greece
Aegina Island, Greece · August 2026
Join a small international group of people from across Europe for a 5-day contemporary dance retreat designed for adults with little or no previous dance experience.
Together with Bona Dance teachers from across Europe, we will share a gentle and inspiring week of movement, rest and community- surrounded by the sea, nature and the quiet beauty of the Greek island of Aegina.
We believe it is possible to begin dancing at any age in a way that is both accessible and artistically meaningful. Throughout the retreat, we will share a professional and gradual learning process within a supportive and welcoming environment, combining daily contemporary dance classes and additional enrichment workshops for beginners with shared meals, time to rest, swimming in the sea and enjoying the slow rhythm of island life. We will dance, eat and stay together at Oikia Karapanou- a beautiful retreat center surrounded by pistachio trees and located just a 2-minute walk from the beach, easily reachable from Athens by metro and ferry.
Whether you have always dreamed of dancing but never started, want to reconnect with movement after many years, or are simply looking for a meaningful summer experience, this retreat is for you.
